Bajji
You can make bajji with bajji chili (mulak bajji), row banana for bajji (vazhakka bajji), jack fruit (kada chakka bujji), onion, egg etc.
Here we explain method to make bajji with any of the above mentioned item. For 10 to 15 nos
Ingredients:
- Gram flour : 100 gm
- Rice flour : 3 tbs
- Salt:as needed(1 tbs)
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tbs
- Red chili powder : 1/2 tbs
- Baking Soda : 1 pinch
- Ginger-garlic paste : 1 tbs (optional)
- Water :
- Required oil for frying
Preparation:
Mix all the ingredients with water and make a batter with dosa batter consistency(not much thick or loose). Pour water little by little into the mixture.
Heat oil in a pan, dip chili , banana , onion or egg in the batter and fry it in oil. Deep fry needed for both sides.
Serve bajji hot with sauce or chutney
