Chicken Roll
Ingredients:
- Maida: 500gm
- Egg: 1
- Sugar:2 tbs
- Yeast: 1/2 tbs
- Butter : 50 gm
- Salt- as needed
- Water – as needed
- Breadcrumbs: required amount ( for frying)
- Egg: 4 nos ( for frying)
For filling:
- Chicken: 250 gm
- Onion: 3 nos
- Green chilies: 3
- Ginger garlic paste: 1 tbs
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tbs
- Red chili powder : 1/2 tbs
- Garam Masala: 1/2 tbs
- Salt : 1 tbs
- Oil: 2 tbs
Preparation:
Soak yeast in 3 to 4 tbs of water for 5 minutes.
In a bowl mix maida, egg, butter, 1 tbs of salt, 1/2 tbs of sugar, yeast mixture and required amount of water, make a smooth dough.
Cover this dough with a wet towel for at least 2 hours. After 2 hours add little amount of maida( 3, 4 tbs) into this dough and mix it using hand.
Take a small portion(doubled size of a lemon) from the dough and make a roll(as size in the picture) using it. Make rolls from the dough with preferred size.
In a bowl, beat 4 eggs using spoon. Heat oil in a pan.
Take each roll, dip into egg mixture, followed by bread crumbs and deep fry it in oil.
Fry all the rolls.
Filling:
Chop the onion, and green chilies into small pieces.
Cook the Chicken with 1/2 tbs of salt. Then separate the flush and make small pieces.
In a pan add 2 tbs of oil. once get hot add 1 tbs of ginger garlic paste. Stir it well. After 2 minutes add chopped green chilies and onion. Stir the onion until it get translucent. Then add chicken pieces into it. Mix it well.
Add 1/2 tbs salt, 1/4 tbs turmeric powder, 1/2 tbs red chili powder, 1/2 tbs garam masala powder, and mix it well, cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Off the flame and keep it aside.
Make a slit in each fried roll and place 2 to 3 tbs of chicken mixture in center. Stuff all rolls like this.
Chicken rolls ready to serve.
