Chilli chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken: 1/2 kg (prefer boneless chicken)
  • Capsicum: 1 ( medium sized , cut it into cubed size)
  • Onion: 1 ( Chop into medium size)
  • Green chilies: 2 ( Split into two)
  • Garlic paste: 1/4 tbs
  • Gingerpaste: 1/4 tbs
  • Cornflour: 4 tbs
  • Maida : 2 table spoon
  • Red chili powder:
  • egg: 1
  • Chili sauce: as needed
  • Soya sauce: as needed
  • Pepper powder: as needed
  • Vinegar: as needed
  • oil: as needed
  • Salt: as needed
  • sugar :1 tbs
  • Celery: 2 or 3 chopped
  • Spring onion: 2 or 3 finely chopped

Preparation:

Magnate the chicken: Use boneless medium sized( uniform sized) chicken pieces. In a bowl add these chicken pieces,add 1/4 soya sauce, 1/4 chili sauce, 1/4 pepper powder, 1 spoon vinegar, 4 table spoon of cornflour , 2 table spoon maida, 1 egg white and salt as needed( 1 tbs). Mix it well and set aside for 2 hours.

After two hours, deep fry the chicken and drain off the oil(replace it into a tissue paper).

Preparing sauce:In a bowl add 1 tbs soya sauce, 3/4 chilli sauce,1/2 tbs chili powder, 1/2 pepper powder, 1 tbs vinegar 1 tbs of salt and 1 tbs sugar. Mix it well and set aside.

In a pan add 2 table spoon of oil, once get hot add chopped garlic, ginger, onion and green chilies. Stir it well. after 2 minutes add capsicum half of celery and spring onions. Fry it until it cooked. Then add the sauce mixture. stir well for 2 minutes.

Add the fried chicken into it and mix it well. Cook it for 3 minutes.

Add remaining celery and spring onion

Also you can make the gravy type of chicken by adding cornflour into it. In a bowl add 2 to 3 tbs cornflour and 2 tbs of water. mix it well and make a thick gravy. Add the mixture into the chicken and stir well. Gravy is ready…
