Gobi manchurian
- Cauliflower: 1 medium sized
- Ginger paste: 1/2 tbs
- Garlic paste : 1/2 tbs
- Cornflour : 4 to 5 tbs ( based on the size of cauliflower)
- Maida : 4 to 5 tbs
- Soya sauce: 1/2 tbs
- Pepper powder : 1/2 tbs
- Salt : 1 tbs
- Oil : for deep fry
- Onion : 2 big size ( cut into medium sized pieces)
- Capsicum : 2 medium size ( cut into medium sized pieces)
- Ginger chopped : 1 tbs
- Garlic chopped : 1 tbs
- Spring Onion : Finely chopped ( as required)
- Tomato sauce /Tomato Ketchup : 1/2 cup
- Soya Sauce:1 tbs
- Green Chilli Sauce: 2 tbs
- Water : as required
- Salt: as required
- Pepper :as required
- Vinegar: 1 tbs
- Sugar:1/2 tbs
Break the Cauliflower into pieces and clean in salt water( dip in salt water for 1 to hours).
Cut all vegetables into equal sized pieces.
Marination of Cauliflower :
In a bowl add 5 tbs of cornflour, 5 tbs of maida, 1/2 tbs of ginger paste, 1/2 tbs of garlic paste 1 tbs of salt, 1/2 tbs of pepper powder and 1/2 tbs of soya sauce.
Mix it using required water and make a thick paste.
Marinate the cauliflower in the batter and keep aside for at least 30 minutes.
Then , deep fry the cauliflower pieces in oil. Keep it aside for draining off the oil from it.
Making sauce:
In a bowl add 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, 1 tbs of soya sauce, 1 tbs of chili sauce , and 1/2 tbs vinegar mix it well.
In another bowl add 5 tbs of cornflour and 6 to 8 tbs of water into it. mix it well. Keep it aside.
Preparation of Gopi manchurian:
In a pan add 2 tbs of oil, once oil become hot add chopped ginger and garlic. saute it well.
Add chopped onion into it. saute it well with 1/2 tbs of salt into it.
Once onion start to turn its color add chopped capsicum and mix well. Saute for 3 minutes. Then add sauce mixture into it. Stir well and Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Then add cornflour mixture into the pan and stir well. Add 1/2 tbs of sugar into it.
Once it start bubbling add fried cauliflower into the pan and mix well. Add 1/2 tbs of pepper powder and mix well. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Finally add chopped Spring Onion into it.
You can avoid the cornflour mixture to make manchurian as dry.
