Gulab jamun
for the gulab jamuns:
- maida:¼ cup
- Milk powder:1 cup
- ghee:½ tsp
- baking soda :1/4 tbs
- yogurt: as required for making soft the dough.
- water:2 cups
- sugar:1 and 1/2
- cardamoms powder :1 tbs
INSTRUCTIONS:
preparing the sugar syrup:
make a mixture of sugar and water, add cardamom powder and heat it in low flame. Keep stirring, once it become thick syrup( it will look like gum once you take in the spoon) off the flame and set aside cooling.
Gulabs:
In a bowl add maida, milk powder and baking powder and mix it well. Add ghee into it. Then using yogurt mix it well and make smooth dough. Then make small sized ball from it.
In a pan heat the oil, once get hot deep fry the dough balls.Once become golden brown color, remove from the oil and set aside in butter paper. Then add those balls into the sugar syrup. once get soaked in the sugar syrup, sweet tasty gulab jamun ready to serve…
