Ingredients used in Masala Capsicum
• Capsicum – 5 numbers.
• Oil – 5 tablespoons.
• Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon.
• Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon.
• Curry leaves – 2 springs.
• Salt – to taste.
• Turmeric – 1 teaspoon.
• Onion paste – 2 onions.
• Chilli paste – 3-4 green chilli.
• Ginger garlic paste – 2 tablespoons.
• Tomato paste – 2 tomatoes.
• Coriander powder – half tablespoon.
• Coconut powder – 1 tablespoon.
• Chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon.
Method:
Heat a tablespoon of oil in a saucepan then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fresh curry leaves, allow them to crackle Now, add onions paste, cooked it for 5 mins then add Chilli paste, Ginger garlic paste, add Turmeric powder, Chilli powder (half teaspoon), salt and saute it also cooked it for 5 mins then lastly add tomatoes paste. Add little bit coriander powder, coconut powder, according to your taste. Mix Well. then add tomato paste, when tomato paste is slightly sauteed add Capsicum (Do not cover it with a lid). And cook it up to 10 min
After 10 minutes of slow cooking, the capsicum looks great and your dish is ready. Garnish it with Coriander leaves/cilantro.
Serve with Chapathi, pulka, or Rice.
