Moru curry
Ingredients:
Curd :1 cup
Use Raw banana or cucumber for making the curry. Cut into medium size pieces. If raw banana don’t remove the entire peel. just need to remove the outer peel as very thin layer : 250gm
Salt: to taste
Coconut Oil:1 tsp
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds: 1 tsp
Green Chili: 3 to 4 nos. vertically sliced.
Red Chili: 2 nos
Curry Leaves: 2 to 3 stems
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Red Chili powder: 1 tsp
Fenugreek seeds – 1/2 tsp
Preparation:
Mix curd in a mixer and set aside.
Coconut paste: Using a mixer make a paste of cumin seed and grated coconut, make a thick paste of it.
In a cooker or vessel pour 1/2 glass water, cucumber pieces or banana pieces , 4 green chilies, turmeric powder, red chili powder and required salt, cook it well. Once get cooked add coconut paste and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Once get boiled add mixed curd into it. mix it well and off the flame. no need to cook after adding curd.
In a pan add 1 table spoon of oil, once hot add the mustard, fenugreek seeds, 2 red chilies, and 2 stems of curry leaves fry it well and add into cooked curry.
